<p>Answer: You can winterize your car by using the following methods:</p>
<ul>
<li>Change your antifreeze &#8211; this keeps water from freezing in your radiator, and your engine</li>
<li>Change your radiator hoses &#8211; this keeps them from breaking in the cold, since cold temperatures cause contraction.</li>
<li>Check your serpentine belt &#8211; like your hoses, they contract in the cold, and checking them makes sure they are in tip-top shape</li>
<li>Check your battery &#8211; cold weather kills batteries, so get the battery life checked so that it doesn&#8217;t die on you</li>
</ul>
